The Black Wall

I touched the wall and my fingers were caked with shimmering black mold. I could feel it sticking to the tips of my fingers as I reached for the light switch. My hand went straight through the wall but my fingertips still clung to the wall.

It took me several moments to realize that my hand had disappeared through the wall. I stood there for a minute just staring at the hole in the wall.
